1.     William Golding, throughout his novel Lord of the Flies, depicts the conflict between civilization and savagery and argues that people, when kept away from a civilized society, become barbaric.

5.     The setting of Animal Farm by George Orwell is a dystopia, which is an imagined world far worse than our world.

6.     The international celebrities should not be criticized for supporting farmers as the violation of human rights across the world is a matter of concern for the people regardless of their nationality.

7.     Online classes, though helped the education sector to move forward through the pandemic, created a lot of health issues, mentally and physically, among the students.

8.     The Hungry Tide reveals the social anthropological concerns of Ghosh and it weaves together a wide variety of genres and narrative modes.

9.     In her novel Ladies Coupe, Anita Nair portrays intelligent and questioning women characters who raise the question of their way of life consolidated by patriarchy.

10. The Malayalam movie, Maheshinte Prathikaram, deconstructs all the traditional norms of a virtuous hero and there is not even an antagonist in the background to highlight the virtue of the protagonist.

  1. Good thesis statements. Felt that statement 5 was an obvious fact and that thesis statement 10 could have been made a bit more succinct.
