1.      Arundhati Roy through her second novel, The Ministry of Utmost Happiness was able to break the gender binary that existed in conventional storytelling by centering the plot on a transsexual character.

2.      The female protagonists in Anita Nair’s novels are women who discovers their real power and potential when they face social abuses and isolation and in this process of self-discovery they evolve from the mute and self-effacing epitome of womanliness to the brave and confident ‘rule-breakers’ who defy the society and its conventions.

3.      With the rise in the cumulative burden of covid-19 cases in Kerala and the rising questions regarding public safety, the state government is pressurized to think about imposing stricter guidelines for all sorts of public gatherings.

4.      The Indian Army’s proposal for its officers to study Tibetology is more than about countering the Chinese influence and propaganda as it is also about understanding and strengthening the cultural and economic ties of the two nations.

5.      In the light of the recent social unrests happening in India, the transparency of Indian democracy and its tolerance towards citizens exercising their rights is under scrutiny.

6.      The recent hike in the price of petroleum and related fuels is suggestive that it is high time for a developing country like India to think about switching to more sustainable and indigenous energy resources that helps to reduce India’s over dependence on other nations for fuel.

7.      The rise in the number of young adults seeking psychological help post lockdown emphasizes the importance of human interaction and the mental health issues one has to face in the absence of human-human relationship.

8.      People’s attitude towards understanding the importance of mental health and people who face mental health issues have undergone a positive change in the recent times with the popular media like movies, series and young-adult fictions telling stories of people with mental health issues more accurately and truthfully.

9.      The addition of vocational training must be made compulsory in the school syllabus from a young stage itself as it enhances the skills of the children thereby contributing to their overall development.

10.  With the occidental and new media influence adoption and single parenting have become more socially acceptable in the Indian cities now.

    Good thoughts. Some of the thesis statements could have been shortened.

    Good ideas but could have been concise. In the 2nd statement, the idea of epitome of womanliness is a little problematic. The 5th one could have been more clear and specific.

    Good thesis statements. Some are too long and could have been brief.

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it. Equivocation was a defending strategy used by Jesuits in Shakeperean time to save their lives from the protestants. Its use was a heated debate during the Gun-powder plot.Written during the 1606, Macbeth reflects the socio-political aspects of the period.The equivocator portrayed in the porter's dream alludes to the Jesuit priest Henry Garnet. LEC052001 Adwaidh. S Critical analysis of the equivocator in Macbeth

  Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death. In Macbeth there are more episodes of equivocation, compared to a single episode in Shakespeare's early play Hamlet , which was written in 1599. The play is filled with equivocal appearances-women with beard, Macbeth in "borrowed robes", a day turned into night, a peaceful castle without and a burning cauldron of evil within.  The Gunpowder Plot was discovered in 1605,finding father Henry Garnet guilty of the plan.
