3.      Jeo Baby’s Malayalam movie Great Indian Kitchen is a reading of myths and superstitions prevailing in Kerala society.

4.      The concept of reservation system in India based on caste is very dissolutional since it contradicts secularism and leads to a nation of casteism.

5.      The novel Corpse Washer which is characterized by powerless individuals and nonsensical authorities by Sinon Antoon is a Kafkaesque fable.

6.       Rajiv Anchal’s Guru is a highly metaphorical movie which bears some thematic semblance with Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.

7.      The portrayal of alpha males in Indian films reflects the misogynistic ideals of Indian society.

8.      The novel Eat, Pray and Love by Elizabeth Gilbert mirrors one’s quest for self-revelation and oneness.

10.  Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mocking Bird is a novel which reflects the racial prejudice of the Whites to the Blacks.

Comments

  1. All the thesis statements are good but felt that the 9th one (social media) could have been a better thesis statement if 'should not be' was replaced by 'is'.
