Title : A deconstructive reading of the girl who haunted death by Nikita Deshpande.

Hypothesis : The short story is the rewriting of a popular old myth in the epic 

Mahabharata. In this story the author tries a varied perspective for the story of the well-

known mythical character, the idol of ideal womanhood, savitri.
