CRITICALLY DISCUSS THE  SIGNIFICANCE OF THE REFERENCE TO THE EQUIVOCATOR IN MACBETH

In the whole play of " Macbeth" Macbeth and Lady Macbeth uses Equivocation in the form of               Riddles and ambiguity to evade the truth.

Even Witches prophecies are also not in direct form. They rely on implications.

To represent the concealment of the truth the background and atmosphere are gloomy and dark.

Macbeth himself knows the truth, he had a vision before killing Duncan but he hided it because of          the greediness.

Banquo and his son killed by Macbeth to hide the truth from others.
