      Job Opportunities After MA English.

It is a common belief that for students with a masters degree in English subject have only teaching as their career option thereafter. But contrary to the age-old stereotype, holding a degree in English opens a wide range of career routes, as compared to any other job prospects that most of the other degrees fail to offer. One of the major strength found in English degree graduates are they possess strong communication  and written English skills, which is very much essential in most of the industries and employers look for the same. Taking the present scenario into account it is easily predictable that most of the opportunities in the future will be in media and communication.

 Studying MA English literature can help one grow the skills which are highly in demand in today’s global and competitive environment where analytic, creative, and critical reasoning skills are most important.

Few of the top jobs for MA English Literature and MA in English include content writing, content writers are required to write contents for various websites, blogs and digital marketing campaigns. A lot of digital marketing agencies are coming up where it is possible to get a job. The job of a Copywriter is another promising career option, different from it one can get the  opportunity to work as a Corporate Communication Executive as well. It is also possible to get a job with a print publication house that published books, journals and magazines or even with an online publishing company as a Writer, Sub-Editor, Proofreader.

An MA English graduate can also take up the job of a Translator, Instructional Designer (Instructional designers design content presentation, called storyboards for e-learning lessons.) or Subject Matter Expert, Customer Service Executive/ Agent (non-voice) or as a Freelance Writer.

Among these the best three career options after MA English literature include Writer, one can work as a full-time employee of a company or as a Freelance Writer. Then comes the career option as a Journalist in which one can also find job as a Reporter, Sub-Editor, Copy-Editor, Online Reporter, and in so many other roles. Undoubtedly it is possible to work as a teacher at school, college, e-learning companies. To build a good career as a school teacher, it is essential to do B.Ed. To teach in college it is necessary to qualify NET (National Eligibility Test) or a State level Eligibility Test (SLET). Whatever the choice is, it won’t leave a person out of job. E- learning is also a booming area now, jobs like online tutor, Subject Matter Expert or the role of Instructional Designers will be present.

It is well acknowledged that for MA English student, when out of college there awaits plenty of job opportunities. There will be a huge number of jobs related to their subject. All that is required is to understand the possibilities and opportunities and grab them.

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it. Equivocation was a defending strategy used by Jesuits in Shakeperean time to save their lives from the protestants.   Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death. In Macbeth there are more episodes of equivocation, compared to a single episode in Shakespeare's early play Hamlet , which was written in 1599.
