    JOB PROSPECTS AFTER M.A. ENGLISH

      English language has been considered to be the first global Lingua Franca.Today, English has acquired the status of an International language that contribute a higher position in the social hierarchy, to its ardent users .And, it has become the part and parcel of every existing field like communication, business, science, information technology, entertainment and so on.Thus it can be said that, it is paramount to speak English nowadays,since it approaches us with various prominent opportunities in almost every field in the social world.

     Pursuing a degree in English language can be a great start to an ardent lover of English language,for the a bright career related to English language in his or her life.And further, pursuing a masters in English is very important. Because, it can create magic in one's life by providing lots of job opportunities in diverse industries in and out of our country.

      It has been a forgone saying for years that ,those students who pursue a masters or degree in English language or English literature can only opt for a teaching career.But,in the present scenario,English being a language of status ensure its aspirants many, different job prospects.

      With excellent writing and communication skills, an M.A. in English can make one recruited for various job roles , like Content Writer, Journalist/Reporter, Copywriter, Corporate Communication Executive, Writer/Sub-editor /Proof reader with publishing houses, Teacher, Translator, Freelance Writer, Instructional Designer/Subject Matter Expert in virtual platforms, Orator, Storyteller etc.

     Because of the cosmopolitan nature of the English language it can offer many opportunities for its aspirants even abroad ,in many countries across the world.It can spread its range of job prospects from an  Anchor to the most  aspired Civil Services with an aid of great writing and communication skills being offered.After pursuing an M.A.in English ,one can also step on to the field of research with securing the NET JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) that too with stipend ;so as to contribute much to the language and wide genres of literature. 

     It can be concluded that, pursuing an M.A. in English language/ literature can actually give an edge to those looking for opportunities in the creative field. Creativity can design a better life , so one must be creative enough at least to give an outline for his or her own life. It is a truth that English can also add on to one's social status in the present era because of its great influence as an international language .

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it. Equivocation was a defending strategy used by Jesuits in Shakeperean time to save their lives from the protestants. Its use was a heated debate during the Gun-powder plot.Written during the 1606, Macbeth reflects the socio-political aspects of the period.The equivocator portrayed in the porter's dream alludes to the Jesuit priest Henry Garnet.   Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death. In Macbeth there are more episodes of equivocation, compared to a single episode in Shakespeare's early play Hamlet , which was written in 1599.
