Job Prospects for a PG Student of English

     As a global language, the relevance of English has been increasing by the time. A master's degree in English is one of the widely taken options because of its abundant career opportunities. Since a commonly used language English facilitates advancement in technology. In this 21st era of knowledge explosion, an MA English graduate can contribute much to the world since every field requires efficient English language skills. A post graduate in English entering into the modern world is highly fortunate with ample job opportunities like writer, teacher,editorial copywriter, editorial assistant, newspaper journalist, magazine journalist, proofreader, talent agent, content writer, translator, freelance writer and so forth.

     A master's degree in English is a better option for journalism. A good language, critical thinking, and interviewing skills enable you to become a good journalist either as a freelance journalist or as a fulltime journalist. You have the choice of a newspaper journalist or a magazine journalist according to personal preferences.

     If you have an advanced writing skill in English it will lead to plenty of writing careers like content writer, freelance writer, editor, copy writer,script writer etc. Blogging is an effective way to creative writing like versification and novel writing. Content writing is a better writing career after  MA in  English which enables a lot of people to earn a good finance. Content writing is optional in various websites, blogs, vlogs, e- learning portals and so on.

     Education has become major and base sector all over the world. Hence teaching is widely chosen as a career after a master's in English. An advanced English communication skill prepare you to become a good English teacher whether in school teaching or college/ university teaching. A Ph.D facilitates teaching careers such as assistant professor in colleges or universities. English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is another option in teaching which in turn facilitates e-learning. Apart from teaching, English also introduces you into huge salaries catering professions  like motivational speaking.

     Summing up, further development in communication across the world necessitates the relevance of English to cross the barriers for a great exploration. A master's in English not only offers diverse job opportunities  but also caters scope in various fields. Hence an MA English student well-versed in English language and communication skills is capable of bringing changes to the modern world where knowledge is the prime scale for development.

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it. Equivocation was a defending strategy used by Jesuits in Shakeperean time to save their lives from the protestants. Its use was a heated debate during the Gun-powder plot.Written during the 1606, Macbeth reflects the socio-political aspects of the period.The equivocator portrayed in the porter's dream alludes to the Jesuit priest Henry Garnet.   Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death. In Macbeth there are more episodes of equivocation, compared to a single episode in Shakespeare's early play Hamlet , which was written in 1599. The play is filled with equivocal appearances-women with beard, Macbeth in "borrowed robes", a day turned into night, a peaceful castle without and a burning cauldron of evil within.  The Gunpowder Plot was discovered in 1605,finding father Henry Garnet guilty of the plan.
