Prospect is from the Latin word prospectus which means a “view or outlook.” A prospect is still a way of looking ahead and expecting good things. When it comes to a master’s degree in English, the job prospects are indeed very bright. The common job prospects for English literature students include becoming a teacher as well as an excellent communicator. English graduates go through rigorous training in written communication. Throughout the course their ability to present their ideas in a coherent and concise manner is tested and honed through a variety of exercises. So the only question remains is how high is the potential?

An English graduate has many options and job opportunities which are suitable for as per their strengths and passions. If teaching is the goal students can clear NET/JRF exams and teach in Universities. Becoming a professor is a dream for many and is very prestigious. Teachers are also able to conduct research and further enhance their skillset whilst teaching which is an added bonus. Also if one wishes to teach at the school level they can opt for a B.ed instead. 
After Doing an MA in English, MPhil and Ph.D. one can become a language expert. English is after all an intriguing language. After teaching writing is the most popular option. Writing is truly endless and has many popular forms. It is the gateway to venting out your thoughts and emotions to create a beautiful piece of work. Content Writers are always in huge demand. It’s one of the brilliant profiles any arts graduate can have, provided they have a flair for writing. As long as there are products/services to be marketed, content writers will flourish. 

If one has the eye for details, the quest to explore more, good communication skills, assertive nature and writing skills then journalism is the suitable Career option.Copywriting is also a field where one can exploit your creative thoughts. It also needs a persuasive tone, but no issues for it will come with practice.Technical writing is also a field where there are many opportunities for English graduates. There are many it companies as well as law firms which hire technical writers.

In case of government jobs English graduates also have a distinct advantage especially in the case of UPSC exam. Their vast knowledge of history and sharp communication skills can help them in clearing both the return and interview rounds. Due to their versatility English graduates are also eligible for intelligence Bureau examinations. This truly shows that the life of an English graduate does not revolve only around teaching and journalism but there are also many other opportunities of which they can take full advantage.

In conclusion, pursuing an MA in English not only provides a catalyst for the development of the creative mind but also is a key stepping stone in nurturing Key communication skills. All of which put these individuals ahead of the curve in many creative fields.

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it.   Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death.
