                                    Job Prospects for M.A English Students

       English is  the language used by 400 million people worldwide which explains its significance as an international language.The ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English is a crucial skill in the modern world.But choosing English as a vocation is often discouraged that informs the popular opinion that  a degree in English won't secure a stable career.On the contrary, being one of the widely used languages it comes with an avalanche of opportunities for the English students.

Teaching is one of the popular and most preferred vocations by M.A English graduates.An M.A English student can take up teaching in public or private educational institutions.Over the recent years e-learning is highly appreciated which in turn provides ample opportunities for online teaching.An M.A  English graduate can also  teach in foreign countries where English  is not a native language after meeting the specific eligibility criteria.

Journalism is another chief path that M.A English graduates go down.Media being an inevitable tool in the modern world never fails to bring up employment opportunities.There are ample opportunities in print media like  news paper publication houses,magazines,journals,television channels and online media agencies.One can also take up freelance journalism.

Content creators are widely preferred by not just media organizations but even by technical organizations.Content writing calls for creativity and ground breaking ideas that land jobs in online websites,publishing houses and marketing firms.

Copywriter is another ideal vocation for an  English graduate. Copywriters write the texts and scripts for commercials.They contribute the content of various billboards,leaflets,flyers,banners,posters etc used for physical and online advertising.

If one has a good command over a regional vernacular language along with English he or she can secure a job in print publication houses that translates and publishes books,journals and magazines.

English language skills never fails to earn employment opportunities . Though many of these prospects come with cut throat competition they are not unachievable . Moreover they help one to hone their language skills and hence are highly rewarding.

  The elements of equivocator overshadows throughout the tragic play  Macbeth  by William Shakespeare. Equivocator is a person who bends the language to deceive someone from interpreting the truth hidden in it. Equivocation was a defending strategy used by Jesuits in Shakeperean time to save their lives from the protestants. Its use was a heated debate during the Gun-powder plot.Written during the 1606, Macbeth reflects the socio-political aspects of the period.The equivocator portrayed in the porter's dream alludes to the Jesuit priest Henry Garnet.   Equivocation in Macbeth can be examined in the light of historical events. The playwright uses equivocators to condemn and criticize the act of equivocation practiced by the Jesuit Priests of  England, who planned the gun powder plot to execute the king James I of Scotland . Throughout Macbeth's life equivocation is playing crucial roles from his transformation into the king to his tragic death. In Macbeth there are more episodes of equivocation, compared to a single episode in Shakespeare's early play Hamlet , which was written in 1599.
